{"id":232,"date":"2013-09-09T13:33:16","date_gmt":"2013-09-09T17:33:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.granitestatefutures.org\/?p=232"},"modified":"2016-08-12T14:15:02","modified_gmt":"2016-08-12T18:15:02","slug":"rockingham-planning-commission-wants-rate-increase","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/granitestatefutures.org\/news\/2013\/09\/09\/rockingham-planning-commission-wants-rate-increase\/","title":{"rendered":"Rockingham Planning Commission Wants RATE INCREASE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Rockingham Regional Planning Commission is looking to increase the rate that taxpayers pay to fund their activities.<\/p>\n<p>It is likely that the other 8 RPCs will be looking for increasing rates as well.<\/p>\n<p>We find this ironic since this money is used to obtain grants from the HUD\/DOT\/EPA to further curtail you property, water, travel and educational rights in New Hampshire and increase your taxes at the same time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We also suspect that money from the Nashua RPC was used to pay a lawyer for advice on how to squelch public discussion of and dissemination of the public domain products of this taxpayer-funded statewide effort.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here is the request extracted from the official document:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/granitestatefutures.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/rock_rate_inc.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/granitestatefutures.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/rock_rate_inc.png\" alt=\"rock_rate_inc\" width=\"539\" height=\"571\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-233\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Taxpayers should protest to their local planning and selectboards to stop this increase and to stop paying dues altogether.
