This document from Columbia Law School came across our desk and we must say it is very concerning.

While nations struggle to keep the right of self-governance, and local governments struggle to keep out federal interference, we face the threat of globalism which encroaches upon these rights through the signing of international treaties.

Interesting to note, as explained in this document, “Treaties ratified by the United States are the supreme law of the Land under the United States Constitution. However, the United States typically ratifies treaties along with a reservation indicating that they are not self-executing, which means that are not directly enforceable in U.S. courts.”

As this pertains to GSF and other programs being promoted in the states, Agenda 21 was the creation of Gro Harlem Brundtland, VP of the World Socialist Party, for the United Nations. President George Bush Senior signed off on it in 1992. President Clinton bypassed Congress and with Executive Order #12858 created a Presidential Council on “Sustainable Development.” This, in effect, made it a part of our government. We have even posted videos of Nancy Pelosi on the House floor, committing us to the principles of Agenda 21.

What is so concerning about this document is that it suggests “Reframing Local Concerns as Human Rights Issues”.

“Using human rights to frame a conversation can increase public support, attract new allies and promote a more active approach to addressing particular concerns. States, cities and counties are drawing on the human rights framework to inform their responses to issues such as health disparities, lack of affordable and adequate housing, and domestic violence. These efforts are reflected in local resolutions, as well as more comprehensive legislative and policy changes. Almost a dozen localities have adopted resolutions declaring freedom from domestic violence as a human right. Two states are addressing healthcare as a human right.

We have seen this kind of philosophy in the writings of those who would amend the US Constitution to include housing, jobs, healthcare and income as ‘human rights’, thereby transforming it from a document that is focused on the limitations of government into a manifesto of what government must provide for its citizens.
