Bureaucrats with Tin Foil Hats

Apparently the folks in Florida are not so happy with the Seven50 bureaucrats.

Seven50 is the plan that is comparable to NH’s Granite State Future. Same funding, same goals; rezoning and new urbanism. As Andres Duany, lead planner stated, “It’s fascism…”

“Seven50 is growing desperate as local residents become aware and educate themselves.”

As in NH they are also using the phony ‘sea level rise’ issue as well… (Our Democratic Governor Maggie Hassan just created a sea level commission)

This is good news. Help your friends get educated as to what is going on in NH, Florida, and every other state.

You Thought You Voted No?

Think again.

“McWilliams pointed out that one option was eliminated at Town Meeting in March when voters, by a margin of two-to-one, rejected a recommendation of the Planning Board to permit “conservation” or cluster subdivisions, which develop a portion of a parcel while leaving the remainder as open space.”

Who is Brian Wright?

In an article published at Seacoast Online, it stated:

“PORTSMOUTH — The Planning Board will hold a work session tonight at City Hall to discuss the progress the city has made with its consultant on a new form-based zoning ordinance.”

Form-based code is being pushed by GSF proponents. Learn about it here.

Further it stated:

“Brian Wright, principal from Town Planning & Urban Design Collaborative, is expected to give a presentation to Planning Board members during the work session.”

But who is Brian Wright? Watch the video Pinardville Uncensored and you will see he’s a ‘consultant’ from Tennessee. Do you want him making decisions for YOUR town?

Here is what services are offered by Wright according to the TPUDC website:

This commercial company assists with ‘charettes’ (Delphi sessions) regional planning (unelected boards) and basically the APA’s idea of urbanization via ‘new urbanist master plans’.

Rochester Rejects GSF, But New Zoning is Planned

We were pretty sure Rochester rejected participation in the Granite State Future ‘master plan’ boondoggle back in 2012, but now we read they will adopt mixed use zoning.

“Once the comprehensive rezoning plan is approved by the City Council, it will replace Chapter 42, the zoning chapter, of the city’s ordinances. The document is a comprehensive revision of the city’s zones, including their locations, definitions, and permitted uses.

One of the new zones included in the document is the neighborhood mixed use zone, which allows for small-sized businesses to be located in the same area as residential homes. Currently, a portion of North Main Street is one of the areas proposed to be neighborhood mixed use.”
