Canada Fights Agenda 21

Canada is not exempt from Agenda 21, regionalism and the new urbanism.

Hear Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh who grew up under communism, talk about it. She says it’s as if the communists followed her.

The Globalization of California: Will an Unelected, Unaccountable Bureaucracy Soon Be Running Your Life?

Top Notch Agenda 21 Speakers in Los Angeles – January 12

Don’t miss the unique opportunity to hear from active experts on the advance of globalist society in California. Debbie Bacigalupi and Heather Gass will describe how Agenda 21 has fully arrived in the form of “One Bay Area” (a similar program is coming next to Los Angeles). Patrick Wood, co-author of Trilaterals over Washington will describe the emerging technocracy leading toward the creation of a scientific dictatorship, and Michael Shaw will address the emergence of Regionalism and the Bay Area lawsuit designed to reverse this reinvention of American government in its tracks. Also speaking will be Bay Area (San Carlos) and Orange County (Aliso Viejo) City Councilmen Matt Grocott and Mike Munzing. These elected officials will provide real insights as to how local government has been overwhelmed by federal pressure to accept Regional controls.

This timely conference promises to disclose problems and suggest solutions to the greatest challenge Americans have ever faced. Save the date now.

PA Officials Claim Ignorance to Agenda 21

Officials in Hellertown PA (Hellertown Borough Council), specifically Renew Lehigh Valley’s (a program similar to Granite State Future in NH) Executive Director Joyce Marin, are denying they know anything about the connection of their program, Renew Lehigh Valley, to United Nations Agenda 21.

This is the same old tactic used everywhere. These folks can pretend they don’t know what it is, but Agenda 21 is the source of the philosophy expressed on the program’s website:

“Renew Lehigh Valley is committed to promoting smart growth and smart governance in order to revitalize our core communities, preserve open space, and establish an economically and environmentally sustainable foundation for our region’s future growth.”

As we’ve posted before you can see both the federal register entry which confirms the federal government’s commitment to Agenda 21 as well as Nancy Pelosi’s floor speech about it here.

BREAKING: Seven50 Now Reduced to Four50 as Martin County Says NO

We are proud to report that Martin County will join rest of Treasure Coast in withdrawing from Florida’s Seven50 plan

Seven50 was but one of HUD’s Agenda 21 plans to control seven counties in Florida, but three have now given them the boot.

MARTIN COUNTY — After months of protest at County Commission meetings, opponents of the Seven50 plan were pleased Tuesday when commissioners voted to opt out of the plan in February.

Commissioners voted 4 to 1, with Commissioner Doug Smith dissenting, to withdraw from the regional plan after the Feb. 22 completion of a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the planning process.

“That’s (Seven50) not how we want to plan,” said Commissioner John Haddox, who made the motion to opt out of Seven50. “I will not encourage top-down control government planning by applying for grants that accomplish nothing but filling planners’ pockets with taxpayers’ dollars.”

Read about the Seven50 plan here.

The Martin 912 said on their website: “Martin County constitutional conservatives owe Jackie Maimone, Sheila Donivan and Phyllis Frey their thanks for their tenacity and leadership over the past 3 months in mobilizing the Seven 50 opposition. Their focus and judgment have been outstanding throughout the process, to include selecting Jerry Kychelhahn as the Seven50 opposition spokesman at today’s decisive BCC meeting. The Martin Co. vote was a resounding success against regionalism.”

Goffstown Warrant Would Allow Rezoning

People who live along Mast Road in Goffstown, NH would be able to house their businesses in their place of residence, if this article is passed.

This was ONE of the features of Plan Pinardville that residents LIKED but could not have had without all the rest of the egregious conditions that came with the GSF proposed changes.

Town Meeting in NH, which runs anytime from January-April, is the MOST important vote you can possibly cast in NH. The Goffstown High School media center (library) will be the location for the hearing and discussion on this warrant article on January 9th, 2013.

Listen to Rep John Hikel speak about the various types of zoning in his December 16th interview with Girard at Large.

NARC’s mission and vision statement:

“Advocate effectively for the role of regional councils in the coordination, planning and delivery of current and future federal programs;”

Those advocating for regionalism certainly have a plethora of groups to support this mission. As ZBiggy said, you can’t have world government without first breaking countries up into regions…

Granite State Future And You: Citizens Bank Business Insiders Breakfast 3

Billed as a ” … three-part series [that] will focus on the Nashua Regional Planning Commission and its “Granite State Future” Project. Granite State Future is a collaborative initiative between the 9 Regional Planning Commissions of New Hampshire to plan for the region based on the wants and needs of the state’s residents.”

In reality, this has nothing to do with the ‘wants and needs’ of the state’s residents but more to do with the ‘goals and objectives’ of international interests, NGOs, private special interests, and the federal government and becomes mandated by any HUD, EPA, and DOT grants that are accepted by the regions.

As we have posted many times before, the surveys and public input represent only a FRACTION of the states’ residents, most of whom have NO idea about this new, regional layer of top down governance that is subject to little oversight by the people and currently virtually NO oversight by the NH legislature.

A first step in exposing them would be for every resident to contact his or her local state reps and ask them to learn about GSF by referring them to this website as well as the Granite State Future official website.

Citizens Bank is involved.

Granite State Future – Taxpayers May Be On Hook to Repay Federal Government

Granite State Future – Taxpayers May Be On Hook to Repay Federal Government
by Tim Carter

When you enter into a contract with someone, it’s a good idea to fulfill the terms of the contract. If you don’t believe me, take a look at what’s going on in Cincinnati, OH.

A few years back, the City of Cincinnati decided to accept Federal grant money from the massive Sustainable Communities Initiative. This huge program is a multi-generational monster that’s designed to mold US cities into Agenda 21 communities. That’s an irrefutable fact.

If you don’t believe me, just go look up everything you can find about President Clinton’s President’s Council on Sustainable Development. You can read about much of this in an excellent eight-page document titled Recognizing Agenda 21 in Your Community created by the Sustainable Freedom Lab.

Grants and the DOT

by Sherry Smart

Let’s take a couple of those grants and see what the DOT does with YOUR MONEY!

U.S. Transportation Secretary Foxx Announces $474 Million for 52 TIGER 2013 Projects in 37 States. Florida is getting some of their taxes back in 3 of these grants, Florida DOT, South Florida Freight & Passenger Rail Enhancement, $13,750,000; Florida International University, University City Prosperity Project, $11,397,120; Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization, Lee County Complete Streets Initiative, $10,473,900. So we Floridians have received approximately $35,620,000 of our tax money coming back to us with a Tiger grant. The Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery, or TIGER Discretionary Grant program, provides a unique opportunity for the U.S. Department of Transportation to invest in road, rail, transit and port projects that promise to achieve critical national objectives. Congress dedicated $1.5 billion for TIGER I, $600 million for TIGER II, $526.944 million for FY 2011 and $500 million for the FY 2012 round of TIGER Grants to fund projects that have a significant impact on the Nation, a region or a metropolitan area. Doesn’t this beg the question, why is our infrastructure falling apart with the massive amount of money that is being poured into these grants? Either we have a real problem with work ethic and the job is just not getting done, or we have a theft problem because we certainly are not getting our money’s worth.

TEA is the Transportation Enhancement Activities division of DOT… this department is expanding and when a governmental agency grows where do they get the money to fund it? Right out of your pocket. This is how TEA is funded, through the Surface Transportation Program (STP) under 23 U.S.C. 104(b)(3), which includes several adjustments, such as adjustments for metropolitan planning, open container and driving while intoxicated laws, highway safety, and safety belt and motorcycle helmet laws. Ever wonder why “click it or ticket” came into being and why it was employed nationally? Now you know, it had nothing to do with safety, the bureaucrats had to fund their departments. Remember government doesn’t make anything they only take from those who work to earn taxes and you are the one who foots the bill.

Shortly after taking office, Pres. Bill Clinton formed the Council on Sustainable Development, on June 29, 1993 with EO 12852 to advise him on “bold, new approaches to achieve our economic, environmental, and equity goals.” The Council had a broader range of issues, including energy, transportation, agriculture and the environment. This begs the question, what could sustainable development have to do with the DOT? When you look at the following website: http://www.dot.gov/livability you will see the following: [click for larger view]

DOT GRANTS

Do you see anything strange in the above statement, where are cars? You aren’t going to see any. What you will see is how incorporating livability into the transportation decision making process can benefit communities, how rural, local and regional agencies are advancing livability principles in their communities.

At the beginning of this article I was looking at how our money is spent with DOT and why with all the money they are receiving our infrastructure is failing and falling apart. The money is no longer being focused on our highways but in the purchase of land for walking and bicycle trails; for easements for those trails and on beautification projects for those sidewalks. Remember we will be living in communities that no longer need cars, you will need those tree lined sidewalks to provide shade while you are lugging your groceries in 98 degree heat here in livable Florida.
