Federal Land Grabs in NH [Video]

This week on “Rock, Paper, Hand Grenades” hosts Gary Hopper and Matt Connarton talked about the Federal land grab here in NH with the Honorable Anne Cartwright, Alstead Selectman Chris Reitmann, and NH State Representative Jim McConnell.

You will be shocked at how much land they are trying to take from us.

Anne Cartwright and her husband own a TREE FARM in Alstead, NH. The were given notice by US Fish and Wildlife Service (USF&W) via a postcard, that their land was part of the acquisition area for the planned Silvio Conte National Wildlife Refuge (SCNWR) which covers the entire Connecticut River watershed area — 1.9M acres of land and covering 93 towns. The feds claim the right of eminent domain, but also claim they want to buy from willing sellers… but it doesn’t appear very voluntary out West.

One tactic used out west is that the government closes the roads to the land, so that owners cannot access their property except perhaps by boat.

Controlling the food, land, and water, is all part of the bigger plan to control people, exclude them from the land, and herd them into mega-cities and other urbanized areas.

In addition to the planned SCWR, we have the Lake Umbagog, Wapack, and Great Thicket areas.

In 1935 the NH legislature voted into law RSA: 121 which limits the amount of land the federal government can take to 5%. But as much as 53% of the town of Gilsum would be affected by these new plans.

Current bills in the NH legislature which would rectify the situation are: HB 1147, HB 1291, SB 324, SB 350

A warrant article was also presented to the voters of the town of Alstead who voted NO to selling any land to the federal government. DRED has received a letter advising them, and they have spoken to USF&W to make them aware of the law.

People who go up against the federal government’s plans can be, as some already have been, charged with ‘terrorism’ under the Patriot Act. (Bundys, Hammonds, and NH’s Jerry DeLemus who supported the idea of land rights when he went to protest what was going on out West)

The federal government is attempting to take over most of the northern forests that cover Maine, NH, NY, and Vermont.

Rep. Cartwright read off the names of several SOUTHERN NH towns that would be affected by the “Great Thicket” plan, and noted that the comment period has been extended until April 3. But MOST towns are UNAWARE that this is happening because they have NOT been notified.

A search on the words “federal land grabs in NH” will bring up several articles about this situation.

Rep Cartwright referred to a movie called “Dead Harvest” which can be seen here and should be important to all: https://vimeo.com/149917045

Foreigners are buying up our land, and using our water.

The Paris Climate Agreement Is a Treaty

The Paris Climate Agreement Is a Treaty Requiring Senate Review
Why and How Congress Should Fight President Obama’s Power Grab

To safeguard America’s economic future and capacity for self-government, congressional leaders must expose Obama’s climate diplomacy as an attempted end-run around the Constitution’s treaty-making process. They should do so before the President signs the Agreement on Earth Day, April 22, at a United Nations ceremony in New York.

Obama Ignores Supreme Court, Will Sign Climate Agreement

Ignoring the ruling that should have stopped him, Obama will sign the Paris climate pact, which puts the United States further under the thumb of world government. Along with world government comes more taxation, more restrictions, more redistribution of the wealth overseas, and less adherence to the constitution.

“The Obama administration will officially sign last year’s international climate change pact despite its central policy being put on ice by the Supreme Court.

Todd Stern, the State Department’s top climate diplomat and negotiator for last year’s agreement in Paris, said Tuesday that the Supreme Court’s order to delay the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Clean Power Plan — called a “stay” in legal terminology— doesn’t change the administration’s plans.

“It is entirely premature, really premature to assume the Clean Power Plan will be struck down but, even if it were, come what may, we are sticking to our plan to sign, to join,” Stern told reporters in Brussels after he met with the European Union’s top climate official, according to Reuters.

“We’re going to go ahead and sign the agreement this year,” he said.

The Supreme Court voted 5-4 last week to put the climate change rule for power plants on hold while 26 states and various energy interests fight it in federal court.”

Need any more proof that our government is the outlaw?

The fact that Obama can get away with this without risking harm to one hair on his head, is proof that the criminals are indeed in charge.

The Takeover of Local Government

From John Anthony at Sustainable Freedom Lab: The destruction of our economy… the destruction of our health care system… guns confiscated… borders wide open… destruction of property rights… privacy rights… the UN’s new Agenda 2030… HUD’s oppressive Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) Rule… and so much more, is happening and very fast.

Do you know what these are and how to stop them? Most Americans have no idea what they are actually fighting.  Worse – they don’t know that most of these battles will be won or lost on the LOCAL level – not in Congress!

AFFH is a decades old term that HUD just translated into a package of mandates governing how communities must use new grant money.   Acceptance of funds through familiar programs such as CDBGs, suddenly triggers the revised AFFH “obligation.” This chilling tactic allows HUD to take control of local zoning, reverse voters’ decisions and even annex your hometown into a region.

Recently, HUD forced the citizens of Rockford, IL, to abandon their vote to build 49 affordable housing units and instead accept 69 units.  Neither the mayor, the council nor the community wanted the larger number of homes.  It didn’t matter. HUD struck like a sledgehammer.   They threatened to notify the Department of Justice of possible civil rights violations and failure to affirmatively further fair housing.  The community had no choice but to buckle.

Worse, once a community accepts HUD funds, AFFH rules govern any money’s they receive, public or private, that HUD concludes may affect fair housing or urban development.

People are fighting back.  The communities of Castle Rock, CO, Goffstown and Rindge NH, and Westchester County, NY have already rejected HUD grants issued under the new AFFH rule.

According to Tom DeWeese of American Policy Center, international policy is currently directing local communities to enforce cutbacks on water use by as much as 75%.

The Sierra Club’s plan forces 500 families to live on one acre of land and they deem it “Smart Growth.” The new corporate law called “Benefit Corporations” enlists corporations to enforce sustainable development policies in their products and promotions. Nearly every state has now either passed or is considering this legislation.

Rochester NH is about to be ‘urbanized’ under a CDBG.

NH Activists Lauded in National Review Article

The biggest reason to attend town meetings which are coming up in your town soon!

National Review author Stanley Kurtz has mentioned some of our best NH activists in his latest article about Obamazone and the “Affirmatively Fair Housing Act” and the reason why towns should reject HUD grant funds.

To all our volunteers, those mentioned and those not mentioned, your work may be anonymous but it is not going unrecognized.

We haven’t always been able to get the numbers of people to town meetings as we would like. As you might know, in NH, town meetings (running anywhere from January – June each year) is where residents vote up or down on zoning changes. It is less clear how much say they have in these HUD grants, which are facilitated by ‘Regional Planning Commissions’, boards of unelected bureaucrats who operate just outside of public control and with specially selected NGOs. In our case it’s the Carsey Institute of UNH which actually employs a PR firm (NH Listens) and actors to steer public opinion at under advertised, under attended Delphi sessions.

We are grateful that Kurtz has given this issue of regionalism some mainstream attention. We who fight regionalism can no longer to be considered ‘conspiracy theorists’.

Governor Baker is Working for the New World Regional Order

Even the educational system cannot escape the tyranny of the consolidation of power, geared toward the concentration of it under one single authority, as dreamed of by Zbigniew Brezinski.

This is Governor Baker of Massachusetts.

And this is how they are planning on wasting your tax dollars in New Hampshire — expensive consultants and wacky unworkable plans for the students.

Specifically, here is that high priced consultantcy who will be sent in to tell your teachers and students what they should be doing, and God help anyone that doesn’t comply.

Kelly Ayotte Backs Obama’s Climate Plan

Seems that NH Senator Kelly Ayotte is not doing much to help the situation by Backing Obama’s Climate Plan

From the watchdog group CFact:

Could the U.S. and other prosperous nations find themselves hauled before a UN climate court to account for perceived global warming sins and asked to pay restitution?

That possibility edged closer this week when the draft agreement the UN hopes to adopt in Paris this December suddenly included an “International Tribunal of Climate Justice.”

This would allow developing nations to sit in judgment over the U.S. and its allies, but not subject those nations to the tribunal’s jurisdiction themselves.

This is not the first time that a climate court has appeared in a UN climate text. In 2011 a nearly identical provision crept into the draft at the UN’s climate summit in Durban. The provision was stripped from the text after CFACT’s Climate Depot blew the whistle and Marc Morano’s exclusive was picked up by the media.

This time they substituted the word “tribunal” for “court” and insist that the body will be “non-judicial.”

They must have thought we wouldn’t spot the thin edge of the wedge until after it was inserted.

We have three different drafts of the UN climate pact available for you to inspect at CFACT.org. The June draft is around 80 pages long and reads like a radical’s wish list. The French hosts of the upcoming conference stripped the draft down to around 20 pages on June 5th, hoping to create a version that would be easier to slip through.

Over 130 developing nations led by South Africa and egged on by China and India refused to work with the short draft and this week negotiators in Bonn put out a draft nearly twice as long. That’s when the “climate tribunal” was inserted.

The pre-Paris negotiations have become quite contentious. Climate radicals and developing nations are demanding severe restrictions on the developed world along with hundreds of billions of dollars in wealth redistribution.

The American negotiating position has for years been to hold the line against these demands.

The question is, how far will President Obama sell out America’s interests in order to get the developing nations to sign?

Judging by the recent Iran nuclear deal, it appears that Obama and Secretary Kerry may be willing to give away the store in order to claim a foreign policy victory.

Nothing being proposed in the UN climate talks will meaningfully alter the temperature of the Earth. None of their so-called “solutions” can pass a cost-benefit analysis.

It would be a mistake to sign any version of a climate agreement currently envisioned.

We intend to dig through this process and make sure the public knows about any “International Tribunal of Climate Justice” and other equally bad provisions before President Obama signs us on to them.

We’ll need your help to share the facts and get them out.

NHCRN Bears Watching

COMING TO YOUR TOWN MEETING SOON

A Community Rights legal group (www.celdf.org) planned to demand their “collective rights” at town meetings across Maine, NH and Mass., as stated in their invitation to meet in 2012. Once again they are going to invade town meetings in 2016. Since the group SOMETIMES may hit on a issue with which we agree, but not always, they bear watching. Please remember that in 2012, they refused to allow a sitting state representative access to their meeting.
